Sometimes a flower isn’t only beautiful. It carries myth within it, and jasmine is one of them. Brought to India in 1690 by the Duke of Tuscany, born in Arabia and later adopted by rituals that still keep its perfume alive, you’ll find it sometimes in healing teas, sometimes braided into garlands worn at the neck like a white promise on the skin, and most often in temples, where it becomes an offering. And at other times, you’ll find it in MADURAI, alongside ylang-ylang and benzoin, with a flame that turns your home into a sanctuary.

| Useful Advice | In order to get the most out of your candle, burn it until the entire surface of the candle melts. When burned simultaneously, leave at least 30 cm between each candle. Do not leave a candle burning unattended. Do not set in a draft. Keep away from children, curtains, and pets. Should the wick require centering, gently readjust to correct position when the wax is still molten. Allow the candle to solidify before relighting. Should any black smoke appear, trim the tip of the wick. It should be clean and no longer than 5mm at all times. Always protect the table or surface on which the candle rests (with a wood or ceramic plate, for example). To protect the glass, always ensure that 0.5 centimeters of unmelted wax remain for Classic-sized candles. L’Intermède and La Grande Bougie are equipped with wick-stoppers and will automatically extinguish once they become visible (always leave at least 3 cm of non-molten wax at the bottom) |
