Bruno Jovanovic Perfumer I Obsentum

Bruno Jovanovic

Bruno Jovanovic

Bruno Jovanovic composes olfactive ideas. He distills them down to their essence, refines them with near-mathematical precision, and transforms them into accords that don’t beg for attention but capture it all the same. Born in France, with the mind of a scientist and the sensitivity of an aesthete, he traded physics and chemistry for ISIPCA to elevate science into art.

Monsieur.

Years spent between Paris and New York gave him the rare ability to fuse two worlds: the mythology of classic French perfumery with the drive and audacity of the American dream. In a world obsessed with speed, excess, and noise, Bruno chose the quiet elegance of restraint. Monsieur, created for Frédéric Malle, is patchouli without compromise, wrapped in rum. Dries Van Noten is a fragrant bow to Flemish subtlety.

THE ‘OPUS XII – ROSE INCENSE’ MEMORY

Inspired by the mystery in Orson Welles' Citizen Kane film and composed as an ode to childhood innocence, OPUS XII – ROSE INCENSE has the name and the ingredients to open the chapter of memories for everyone who tries it.

A PHILOSOPHER PERFUMER WITH A PERFECTLY TUNED NOSE

Bruno believes beauty doesn’t need a concept, only clarity. He draws inspiration from Kant, from unexpected conversations, from perfectly designed objects, or the rhythm of a well-constructed sentence. He rejects excess. He prefers to work with a limited palette of raw materials, each chosen with rigorous intent. Patchouli is his self-declared obsession—dense, airy, grounded, mysterious. Like a well-conducted symphony, his perfumes unfold slowly but with purpose. Every note matters. Every silence is intentional.
